Eine Woche lang ging es vom 01. &#8211; 08. April wieder nach Hossegor\/Seignosse &#8211; einer der besten Surfspots Europas.&nbsp;Dank der Unterst\u00fctzung der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kelag.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KELAG<\/a>, der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bootswerkstatt.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bootswerkstatt Zeichen<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.docweingart.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.docweingart.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Doc Weingart<\/a> wurde diese Woche unvergesslich!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/surfteamcarinthia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Produktfotos-21-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-655\" srcset=\"https:\/\/surfteamcarinthia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Produktfotos-21-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/surfteamcarinthia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Produktfotos-21-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nach den zwei erfolgreichen Surftrips letztes Jahr, konnten wir es kaum erwarten, wieder eine gemeinsame Woche surfen zu gehen.17 Vereinsmitglieder haben Wetsuits, Surfboards, Surfskates und alles, was noch dazu geh\u00f6rt, eingepackt und sind mit dem Auto oder Flieger in den S\u00fcden Frankreichs gereist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die kalten Wintermonate haben uns nur davon tr\u00e4umen lassen. Doch wir haben uns w\u00e4hrend dieser Zeit auf das Surfen vorbereitet. Mit regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Trainings, wie z. B. Pop-up-\u00dcbungen auf der Popupmatic f\u00fcr einen guten Take-Off, Balance-Boards von Woaz-Board f\u00fcr mehr Stabilit\u00e4t oder Blackroll-\u00dcbungen um Verspannungen vorzubeugen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus haben wir Surf-spezifische HIIT Workouts und Yoga-Sessions integriert. So haben wir die Wintermonate erfolgreich genutzt, um an unserer Fitness zu arbeiten und sind dann mit voller Energie und Vorfreude nach Frankreich gefahren.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hossegor &#8211; Surfen im S\u00fcden Frankreichs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hossegor liegt an der franz\u00f6sischen Atlantikk\u00fcste und ist bekannt f\u00fcr endlose Sandstr\u00e4nde, beeindruckende D\u00fcnen und perfekte Wellen. Der charmante Ort erinnert an Kalifornien, gepaart mit dem franz\u00f6sischen Flair &#8211; bietet Hossegor eine tolle Mischung aus Surfshops (Outlets), Patisserien, coole Restaurants und gem\u00fctliche Unterk\u00fcnfte.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Region ist f\u00fcr ihre konstanten und kraftvollen Wellen bekannt, die perfekt zum Surfen sind. Egal, ob Anf\u00e4ngerIn oder erfahrene\/r SurferIn &#8211; es gibt hier Wellen f\u00fcr jeden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Unterkunft&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Surfcamp selbst befand sich in der N\u00e4he zum Strand, sodass wir morgens nur wenige Schritte entfernt mit einem frischen Kaffee oder Tee in der Hand die Wellen abchecken konnten. Im Erdgescho\u00df befindet sich ein kleines Caf\u00e9, Restaurant und ein Surfshop, wo man sich auch gleich Surfboards &amp; Softboards ausleihen kann. Das Haus besitzt eine gro\u00dfe Gr\u00fcnfl\u00e4che und l\u00e4dt einfach zum Entspannen im Freien ein. Das Beachhouse ist modern und offen gestaltet, was den gro\u00dfen Aufenthaltsraum mit gen\u00fcgend Tageslicht durchflutet und eine gro\u00dfe Couch l\u00e4dt zum Chillen ein. Es gibt unterschiedliche Zimmergr\u00f6\u00dfen &#8211; eines mit 6 Stockbetten &amp; eigenes Bad (da haben alle Surfergirls geschlafen), und drei weitere Zweibettzimmer &amp; Bad den Gang entlang. Im Dachgeschoss befindet sich ein gem\u00fctliches 6er Dorm mit Einzelbetten.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eine Woche voller Ereignisse<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hinfahrt<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bereits die Hinfahrt von Villach nach Hossegor war ein reines Abenteuer. Einige Vereinsmitglieder sind mit dem Flugzeug nach Frankreich. Die andere H\u00e4lfte ist mit dem Vereinsbus und zwei weitere Autos durch Deutschland nach Frankreich gefahren. Ingesamt sind es 20h Fahrt, da hat man eine Menge Zeit sich zu unterhalten und unterschiedliche Musik zu h\u00f6ren. Das Problem wurde am n\u00e4chsten Tag jedoch rasch gel\u00f6st und die Reise konnte weitergehen. Das hat uns aber nicht viel ausgemacht, da wir uns von der langen Fahrt erholen mussten. Darum sind wir die Tage in die Surf-Outlets von Hossegor gefahren und haben uns einige tolle Schn\u00e4ppchen geholt. Da gab es Surfshops und Surfmarken soweit das Auge reicht. Zwischendurch haben wir uns unsere Surfskates geschnappt und sind durch die Stra\u00dfen gecruised. Am selben Abend haben wir gemeinsam gekocht und haben uns einen Film angesehen. Der zweite regnerische Tag verlief \u00e4hnlich und am zweiten Abend sind wir dann gemeinsam in ein Restaurant, wo es leckere vegetarische\/vegane Burger und Bowls gab.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Die Wellen &amp; das Surfen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das gute Wetter in der restlichen Woche trug ma\u00dfgeblich zu unserem unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bei. Die Sonne schien fast jeden Tag, was bedeutete, dass wir den Gro\u00dfteil unserer Zeit drau\u00dfen verbrachten. Ingesamt hatten wir gute Wellen, vor allem f\u00fcr die Rookies gab es \u201esurfbare\u201c Wei\u00dfwasserwellen. Rund um Hossegor gibt es eine Reihe von beliebten Surfspots, die f\u00fcr Anf\u00e4ngerInnen und erfahrene SurferInnen geeignet sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es waren Anf\u00e4ngerInnen, sowie Fortgeschrittene mit dabei. Der Rest der Crew hatte die eigene Ausr\u00fcstung mit dabei. Der Atlantik betr\u00e4gt im April ca. 15 Grad Celsius, aber mit einem 4\/3 oder 3\/2 Wetsuit ist man gut ausgestattet. Au\u00dferdem bewegt man sich im Wasser, wobei einem sowieso warm wird. Dank dem Verein gab es verg\u00fcnstigte Surfstunden. Der Surfkurs fand am Vormittag statt, parallel dazu gingen ebenso alle anderen MitgliederInnen surfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-5 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" data-id=\"665\" src=\"https:\/\/surfteamcarinthia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/France23-28-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-665\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" data-id=\"666\" src=\"https:\/\/surfteamcarinthia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/France23-29-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-666\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ebenso dabei waren unsere zwei j\u00fcngsten Mitglieder (14&amp;11). Wobei ein Junge bereits letztes Jahr schon dabei war und es dieses Jahr riesige Fortschritte zu sehen gab. Er hat sich mit allen anderen ins Line-Up getraut und hat selbstbewusst mehrere kleine Wellen gesurft.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bonne Cuisine&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck gab es jeden Tag frische Baguettes, Croissants oder Chocolatine (wie im S\u00fcdwesten Frankreichs genannt) mit einer k\u00f6stlichen Auswahl an K\u00e4se, frisches Obst &amp; Gem\u00fcse, Aufstriche, M\u00fcsli und vielen mehr. Dadurch waren wir f\u00fcr einen Tag voller Surfspa\u00df mit ausreichend Energie versorgt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nach dem Surfen waren wir jedes Mal hungrig. Aus diesem Grund, haben wir uns von den umliegenden Superm\u00e4rkten, jede Menge Snacks und kleine Mahlzeiten geholt. Ansonsten haben wir gemeinsam gekocht oder sind in den umliegenden Restaurants essen gegangen. Gekocht haben wir: vegane Wraps, Zucchini-Pasta, Australian Pie oder vegetarisches Curry. Den letzten Abend haben wir beim Haus verbracht, denn gleich dahinter befand sich ein Restaurant &#8211; dort haben wir richtig gute Pizza gegessen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Besides surfing &#8211; Surfskate, Shoppen, Spielabende<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neben dem Surfen waren wir Surfskaten, haben Volleyball gespielt, Yoga gemacht oder einfach in der Sonne gechillt. Einige sind zum Shoppen in die Outlets gefahren. Andere eine Runde spazieren und haben die charmante Umgebung erkundet. Von unseren Vereinsobmann Max Widnig gab es ebenfalls eine Theoriestunde \u00fcbers Surfen und alles was man dazu wissen sollte &#8211; Str\u00f6mungen, Art der Wellen, Forecast lesen etc. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Highlights der Woche<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am Mittwoch haben wir einen Tagesausflug nach Hendaye unternommen. Die Stadt befindet sich direkt an der Grenze zu Spanien und liegt zwischen Meer und Gebirge. Der drei Kilometer lange Sandstrand mit faszinierender Bergkulisse bietet gute Surfbedingungen. Die lange Strandpromenade hat uns zum Surfskaten oder einfach flanieren eingeladen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An diesem Tag war gro\u00dfer Swell angesagt (hohe Wellen), weshalb wegen der Bucht in Hendaye die Wellen leicht gebremst und damit viel kleiner ankommen als in Hossegor. Wir haben den ganzen Tag in Hendaye verbracht. Am Abend machten wir uns mit unseren Surfskates auf den Weg in die Stadt, um was zu essen. Der Spot war \u00fcberf\u00fcllt und im Line-Up waren viele SurferInnen. Dennoch hatten wir Spa\u00df und haben uns einige Wellen geschnappt. Nach dem Surfen haben wir uns bei einem Lokal an der Strandpromenade eine gesunde Poke-Bowl geholt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am Abend sind einige unserer erfahrenen SurferInnen am naheliegenden Strand zu einem Sunset-Surf aufgebrochen. Der Rest der Crew hatte sich den Sonnenuntergang vom Strand aus angesehen und mitgefiebert. Der Sonnenuntergang am Strand war die Kr\u00f6nung einer unglaublichen Woche, mit tollen Menschen, viel Spa\u00df und gute Wellen. Mehr kann man sich nicht w\u00fcnschen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Recap &#8211; Memories were made<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eine unvergessliche Woche, die uns mit dem Meer und Surfen wieder vereint hat. Wir haben nicht nur Wellen gesurft, sondern auch eine tolle Community gest\u00e4rkt. Das Meer und Surfen schenkt uns Freiheit, Abenteuer und ein Gef\u00fchl der Leichtigkeit, wenn wir uns auf den Wellen bewegen und eins mit dem Wasser werden. Surfen ist einfach mehr als nur ein Sport.
